About Us

A master stylist, master colorist, master barber, and educator, Mikey has been working behind the chair and teaching for two decades. After starting his career in Salt Lake City, Utah, he moved to the more diverse city of Houston, Texas, to expand his knowledge of hair. He then became an educator for the world-renowned Tigi Linea manufacturer of BedHead Products, their salons, and academies, before relocating back to Utah to take on the role of Pravana National Educator, the company that started the fashion color trends in the mid 2000’s. Mikey has since been teaching full-time, developing and maintaining his own curriculum and techniques. 

Mikey loves the beauty industry for its ever-changing and diverse nature. He is also a passionate photographer, culture enthusiast, and music lover. His passion for the beauty industry and his creative pursuits make him a valuable asset to the industry.
